You may be able to attend Community College for free!
Did you know that there’s a good chance you could attend Macomb (or other community colleges) for free after you graduate?
The new Michigan Community College Guarantee program covers the first two years of tuition for most high school students, saving thousands of dollars.
“There are no income requirements, so anyone can attend Macomb tuition-free,” said Janette Schocke, assistant director of financial aid at Macomb.
Some important details:
The scholarship is available for three years
You must maintain full-time enrollment and get good grades
You must complete the FAFSA annually and live in Michigan
You can take any class, including skilled trades, certificate courses and more
